    Russian e-commerce up by 27%

    Russia's e-commerce market grew by 27% in 2012, reaching a value of over 400 bn. rubles ($12.6 bn.), according to Sergey Plugotarenko, head of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC). Speaking at the annual RIF+KIB forum organised by RAEC, Mr. Plugotarenko added that physical goods sold via the Internet account for nearly three quarters of the market's value: 280 bn. rubles.
